Jan Jagruti Sevarth Sansthan (Confluence and Skill Development program)
Confluence and Skill Development program, held from September 28th to October 2nd, 2024, in Bikaner, Rajasthan, aimed to empower Deaf and Deaf-blind children through skill development and creative expression. Approximately 1,000 children participated in a diverse range of activities, including vocational training, competitions in drawing, singing, dancing, photography, news anchoring, and music. Cultural programs, sports, and presentations were also organized to showcase the children's talents and identify their potential. The program received support from on-site doctors and Indian Sign Language interpreters to ensure smooth execution.
In addition to skill development, the program included a plantation initiative in Meghasar and Kolasar villages, aiming to set a World Record for the largest plantation. This initiative serves a dual purpose: environmental sustainability and generating income to support the needs of the Deaf and Deaf-blind children. The company's CSR contribution covered all aspects of the program, including logistics, accommodation, food, training materials, trainer fees, water, medicines, and medical support. The
program successfully enhanced brand awareness among locals and garnered recognition from bureaucrats and public representatives in attendance. A key highlight of the program was the drawing workshops conducted for the students, providing a platform for creative expression and skill development.
