Mr. Jain is the Founder and Managing Director of CleanMax, and a leading force in Asia’s clean energy transition. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, a Chartered Accountant, and a former Global Partner at McKinsey and Company, he brings deep expertise in energy and finance. Under his leadership, CleanMax has grown into a market leader across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, accelerating net-zero journeys for global corporates. Recognised by ET, Forbes, and IIM for his contributions, Kuldeep continues to shape the future of sustainable business with clarity, scale, and impact.

Pratap Jain brings rich operational experience from the apparel and textile sector. As a former senior leader at the Raymond Group, he has led large teams and scaled business operations. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Pratap contributes financial clarity and operational foresight to the CleanMax board.

Mr. Santosh Janakiram is a Senior Partner & Member of the Partnership Council at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) and previously was a partner in Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. (AMSS), India’s largest and foremost law firm. Mr. Janakiram was admitted to the Bar after receiving his B.A. LLB (Hons.) degree from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, and has worked with AMSS/CAM’s Mumbai office since 2001. Mr. Janakiram has rich and in depth experience in construction, projects, project financing, structured financing, acquisition financing, banking, debt capital markets and private equity. He represents developers, sponsors, lenders and is involved in various infrastructure sectors, including renewable energy, construction, transportation and mining. He has spearheaded the development of the renewable energy practice at the Firm and has been involved in the development of the transition and sustainable energy practice.

Ms. Shilpa is an accomplished professional with over 29 years of experience, beginning her career in consulting and successfully transitioning to leadership roles in the dynamic agribusiness and food sectors. She has worked for prestigious organizations including Arthur Andersen, KPMG, Bunge Agribusiness, Monsanto, and Bayer CropScience, steadily advancing through roles of increasing responsibility. At Bayer CropScience, Ms. Shilpa led Strategy and Commercial Excellence for the Asia-Pacific region and co-led the Global Smallholder Strategy. She has also served as the CEO and Managing Director of Monsanto India driving key business initiatives and overseeing operations. Ms. Shilpa was the Head of Strategy & Business Development at Bunge India a leading US-based multinational in the oilseeds, commodity trading, and food sectors. 

Ms. Shilpa currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited and GMM Pfaudler India Limited, and as a Non-Executive Director at Grow Indigo Private Limited. 

She is also the Co-founder of AGVAYA LLP, a consulting firm focused on the agriculture and food value chain. She holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and MBA.

Ms. Pooja Aggarwal is a Chartered accountant by profession with 25+ years of diversified experience across industries such as Power and energy, infrastructure, IT, ITES across various countries and cultures (US, Latin America, UK, Japan, India, and Australia).

Her experience includes managing Board relationships, fund raising, equity raise, mergers and acquisitions, business partnering, finance, accounting, reporting, procurement and legal and secretarial.

Deepali Bahl is a Managing Director at Augment Infrastructure, bringing over two decades of global private equity and infrastructure investing experience. Her past leadership roles at IFC, PineBridge, and AIG—spanning Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, and Singapore — add a global perspective to CleanMax’s board. She is an alumna of IIM Bangalore.

As Managing Director at Brookfield India, Nawal Saini oversees all renewable power investments across the region. With nearly two decades in investing, he has led transactions at CDPQ, JP Morgan’s Asian Infrastructure Fund, and Jacob Ballas. Nawal’s academic background includes a degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and an MBA from MDI Gurgaon.

Darius Lilaoonwala is a Founding Partner at Augment Infrastructure.

He has 20+ years of investing in infrastructure globally and was the Co-head, US$1.2 billion IFC Global Infrastructure Fund (2012- 2019). He was the Co-author of IFC’s ESG guidelines for power (2007-2008) and is a Member of EMPEA’s Infrastructure and Energy Council.

He is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has an MBA from Wharton.

Krishna Iyer is the Senior Vice President within BAM India Group responsible for investment for Renewable Power and Transition investments in India.

Krishna Iyer joined Brookfield in 2018 and has around 13 years of experience working in the Renewables sector. Prior to joining Brookfield, Krishna worked previously with SunEdison and TerraForm Global where he was responsible for Corporate Development and Project Financing across multiple markets in India, South East Asia and Australia.

He holds a B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

A legal expert with a transactional edge, Tanya Mehta has over 15 years of experience across various sectors, including energy, real estate, and infrastructure. Before Brookfield, she spent eight years with Trilegal, Delhi, focusing on M&A and corporate law. Tanya holds degrees from Lady Shri Ram College and the Campus Law Centre of the University of Delhi.

Sridhar Rengan is a Senior Vice President within BAM India Group responsible for Corporate Finance activities including financing requirements for investments across platforms.

Sridhar Rengan joined Brookfield India in 2014, and has held various positions within the Company and its affiliates. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Rengan has held various senior level positions over the last two decades in various business groups spanning from Real estate, infrastructure to consumer goods products.

He is a Commerce graduate from the University of Calcutta and is also completed his post-graduation in Law from the same University. He is also a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Murzash Manekshana leads asset management for Brookfield’s renewable and transition platforms in India. Since 2021, he has driven performance and value across multiple verticals. With over 25 years of experience in leadership and entrepreneurship, he has built and scaled businesses across various industries. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai.
