Objective:

To accelerate the decarbonisation of Google’s cloud operations and offices across India, supporting its long-term sustainability goals and clean energy transition in the region.

CleanMax Approach & Solution:

We structured a hybrid renewable energy agreement with Google, developing a 158.40 MW portfolio, comprising 99 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan and 59.40 MW of wind capacity in Karnataka. Both projects are connected to India’s national grid, enabling Google’s operations to be powered directly with clean energy.

Outcomes Achieved:

Once operational, the projects are expected to generate approximately 350 million kWh of renewable energy annually, offsetting around 250,000 tons of CO₂ emissions every year and advancing Google’s 24/7 carbon-free energy commitment in India.
